Our current policy is to accept applications either through the North Carolina Employment Security Commission
or directly at our Human Resources Office for a specific position. To apply, submit a completed
North Carolina State application form, (PD107), and copies of college transcripts to an Employment Security

Our policy is to require a valid North Carolina Drivers License, completion of an I-9 Form (INS Employment
Eligibility Verification), criminal record background check, sex offender screening and Health Care Registry screening.
Applications are reviewed by Human Resources for the required education/work experience. If the applicant meets all
qualifications, the application is then forwarded to the supervisor/coordinator of the vacant position to select
applicants most qualified for admission to interview. The Beacon Center will respond to qualified applicants only.
Official transcripts will be required upon employment date. Resumes are not accepted in lieu of completing an application.
